I just came back home from Halkidiki where I stayed for 1 week at camping Armenistis, which was great! For me it was the 5th time that I visited Halkidiki and for sure next year I will go there again. I know the fingers Kassandra and Sithonia. Personally, I prefer the Sithonia finger.

I like Sithonia more because there it has beautiful nature, many hidden but beautiful beaches and great beach bars. Also there are not so many tourists as on the first finger Kassandra.

On Kassandra it is more easy to find shops, banks etc and on Sithonia most of the times you need a car to find those facilities (depending where you stay.)

Although Halkidiki certainly is not the most modern area in Greece to go for holidays, for me certainly it is the best. I advise everybody who goes there for holidays to rent a car. There are so many nice villages to see, beaches to go and beach bars to visit, that without it’s almost impossible to do all that.

See you again next year!
